They're Back

Alicante fought out a win against Union Baloncesto La Palma yesterday with a 97-76 victory after trailing well into the third period. Taylor played over half of the game (21 minutes) and finished with 12 points, 9 rebounds and one blocked shot.

In honor of such a great comeback and a WIN Taylor's mom, who's visiting for a couple weeks, cooked a celebratory dinner for Taylor and teammate Keith Waleskowski who played for Dayton.

A win and home-cooking... looks like Taylor had a great weekend!

If you would like to watch the game "live" or at least see the scores go up as they happen, go to this website: http://www.feb.es/. There are no games being played at this moment, but we tried to access the site and it seems to be working.

If you go to: http://baloncestoenvivo.feb.es/

You will see a bunch of scoreboards. On the day of the game (next game is tomorrow, Friday) Alicante will be listed on a scoreboard. In the middle of the scoreboard there is a gray box that has EN VIVO! written in it. This means Live. Click on it and you will get a live play by play description of the game, who is playing, how many points, reb, fouls etc. Be patient with it because it slows down once in a while. 2 things to remember: currently Spain is 5 hours ahead of us, so the game tomorrow at 21:00 hours (9 o'clock) is their time. Our time will be 4 in the afternoon. The time difference will change to 6 hours after this weekend. The second things is that the webcast is in Spanish, but you will quickly learn what Spanish words mean in English.
